Program Title: BC Civil Liberties Association has concerned about RCMP investigation of Anti-Gay graffiti incident
Description: BCCLA expresses concerns about the due diligence of Lake Cowichan RCMP investigation
Desription: The BC Civil Liberties Association has expressed concern about the due diligence of local RCMP in investigating a hate crime in Lake Cowichan.

A resident of the small BC town alleges that an off-duty auxiliary RCMP officer and a city employee spray-painted a homophobic slur on his fence.

The RCMP, who promised a thorough investigation of the incident, publicly exonerated the two accused city employees in May, even though key evidence in the investigation has not yet been tested and will not be available until December.
