Luke is a local activist/contributor to Victoria's Food Not Bombs chapter, and an environmental defender noted locally as the last man taken down during the infamous Bare Mountain Tree Sit, the remnant of which is the pitiful clearcut, and Spencer Road Bridge to Nowhere eyesore disgracing the northern approach to the City of Victoria.
