Program Title: the days that changed everything
Description: Gorilla Radio with Chris Cook: Engineer Werner Simbeck believes there is much more to the 9/11 story than so far reported from official quarters. Simbeck is a mechanical engineer, and is a signator to the petition sponsored by Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, an international collection of like-minded professionals who calculate the official September 11th story does not compute. Werner Simbeck in the first half. Peter Murdoch is a former journalist and the current vice-president of the media division for the Communication, Energy and Paperworkers Union, the representative organization of more than 20,000 Canadian journalists. Peter and CEP were reported in the Globe & Mail recently as being perplexed by Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, or CRTC, attempts to codify media deception in this country. In an time when media credibility is being questioned like never before, who on earth would wish to undermine that fragile commodity further? Or as Peter Murdoch asks; “Where is the motivation for change that would lower the standards of truth and fairness in broadcast journalism?” Peter Murdoch and introducing "fair and balanced" American style to Canadian broadcasting in the second half. And; Victoria Street Newz publisher and CFUV broadcaster, Janine Bandcroft will join us at the bottom of the hour to relate her reaquaintance with the streets of our fair city, and the goings on therein and beyond. Chris Cook hosts Gorilla Radio, airing live every Monday, 5-6pm Pacific Time, in Victoria at 101.9FM, 104.3 cable. He also serves as a contributing editor to the web news site pacificfreepress.com.
