Description: World Water Day is March 22. Maude Barlow, author of Blue Covenant: The Global Water Crisis and the Coming Battle for the Right to Water explains the growing shortages of usable fresh water in the world and how a few corporations are being helped by the World Bank and IMF to control what's left. Struggles of desperate people have had some success against the privatizers, but our practices towards water must change.
