Program Title: Terra Informa - Season 8, Episode 29 - Sustainable Food
Description: This week’s show is all about sustainable food. What better way to augment the discussion than by introducing the concept of Permaculture. That’s right, permanent agriculture. Sounds complex
right? Fortunately Andy Read and Jason Evans are here to explain the intricate ins and outs of this revolutionary idea.

Fresh, clean drinking water might be the most valuable resource we have, but in many communities it goes unappreciated. Not in Wakefield, Quebec, where the community has rallied in support of the Save our Spring initiative. Rebecca Rooney spoke with members of the initiative and filed this report for our Local Campaigns series.

Guest correspondent Sarah Beck brings us a lecture on small scale local farming by Dr. Nettie Wiebe.

Finally, Rebecca Rooney (pulling double duty this week)brings us a piece on the exciting world of seed bombing. No seeds were hurt in the making of this piece.

Host(s): Steve Andersen
Featured Speakers/Guests: Dr. Nettie Wiebe - professor of Church and Society at St. Andrew's College; Peter Andree - S.O.S. Wakefield, founding member; Else Tunrsen - S.O.S. Wakefield member

Credits: Producer: Michael Kingsley McNicoll

Contributors: Andy Read, Jason Evans, Rebecca Rooney, Sarah Beck
