Program Title: The Dominion's Climate Justice Issue- speech by Maude Prud’homme
Description: Every year, the Meda Co-op publishes a special issue of The Dominion delving deeper into one particular topic. In March, based on reader input & proposals, we'll be publishing our next special issue - this time on Climate Justice.

Climate justice involves injecting a human element to the climate debate, and making social justice a top priority. This doesn't just mean considering the poorest of the poor in the regions most vulnerable to the effects of global warming, it also means enhancing equality while rapidly reducing emissions in high-emitting countries like Canada.

Maude Prud’homme, 23 years struggle to save the forests. She studies arts and sciences. She now devotes herself full time to the militancy. She is a member of the Coalition Save l’Île René-Levasseur. She also founded the firefiles, a collective of filmmakers, who had committed, in particular, documented the battle for the backup-Levasseur Island.
