Program Title: Terra Informa - Season 8, Episode 34 - Election Special
Description: Election placards are springing up from yards across the country like crocuses and everyone is talking about how to vote in the 41st Canadian General Election. But even though Earth Day was just last week, candidates hardly uttered a peep about the environment. Most politicians are sidestepping environmental issues this election, the leader of the Green Party was excluded from the French and English leader’s debates, and few media outlets are asking environment policy questions. We here at Terra Informa decided to do our part to fill the gap and help the environmentally conscious electorate decide where to place their x on May 2nd.
Host(s): Rebekah Rooney
Featured Speakers/Guests: Elizabeth May - Leader, Green Party; Linda Duncan - MP Edmonton-Strathcona, NDP; Laurie Hawn - MP Edmonton Center, Conservative; Ed Whittingham - Executive Director, Pembina Institute
Credits: Producer: Michael Kingsley McNicoll
Correspondents: Steve Andersen, Myles Curry, David Kaczan
