Program Title: Latin Waves Interviews Mark Leier
Description: On this weeks show we speak to SFU professor Dr Leier who speaks about his new book “Rebel Life, The Life and Times of Robert Gosden, Revolutionary, Mystic, Labor Spy”.

The discussion turns to the contemporary labor movement taking lessons from those traditional struggles of yesteryear.

Professor Leier’s interests include labor history, anarchism, and contemporary conflicts and ideas on the left. How collective struggle between classes shapes history, and how ideas both reflect and change the economic and political structures of the day as succeeding generations draw on the past to find new solutions to new problems.
