Description: Edmonton-born Jill Hennessy made her acting debut as a prostitute in the film Dead Ringers, starring Jeremy Irons. Within a few short years, she worked her onto the small screen, co-starring as ADA Claire Kincaid on the original Law & Order, a role which she held for three years. After appearing in a number of small, independent films - including Chutney Popcorn - she returned to the TV screen as the lead role in Crossing Jordan - co-starring Miguel Ferrer and Jerry O'Connell.

Near the end of Crossing Jordan's run she appeared as the Wife of Tim Allen in Wild Hogs, and a year later popped up as the wife of Alec Baldwin in Lymelife. She also starred as Jackie Kennedy in the TV Movie Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot. Her new film, Roadie, recently debuted at the Vancouver International Film Festival, and will hit theatres in January.

As well as being actress, Jill Hennessy has also been a musician and singer-songwriter for many years. In June 2009, she released her debut album "Ghost In My Head". In addition, she has shared the stage with folk legends The Indigo Girls and performed in the 2010 edition of Lilith Fair.

In 2007, she received a star on Canada's Walk of Fame.
