Program Title: Canada suits up, picks up awards at day one of COP17
Description: On Monday, Nov. 28, the 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework on Climate Change, commonly referred to as COP17, kicked off in Durban, South Africa. Thousands of delegates from around the world had arrived in the city to discuss how we should address the threat of climate change and global warming. As the conference kicked off though, the Canadian government received some advice it may not have expected - fashion advice - from the Canadian Youth Delegation at the launch of their new BituMensWear clothing line.

The day only got better for the Great White North when it was awarded two out of three of the first Fossil of the Day awards, given out each day during COP17 to the countries which did the most to thwart negotations in the last 24 hours. What did Canada do to merit such recognition? Take a listen to find out...

Host(s):
Featured Speakers/Guests: Canadian Youth Delegation members Sonia Grant, Matthew Chisholm and Robin Tress
