Description: Charles Boylan is a Canadian radio broadcaster and political activist. He is former host of Wake up with co-op and current host of Discussion, programs on CFRO 102.7; a community-run, co-operatively-owned, non-corporate radio station broadcasting from Vancouver, British Columbia.


Boylan is also known as an electoral reform activist, active in the movement for proportional representation since 1997 when he became a director of the BC Electoral Change Coalition led by Troy Lanigan of the Canadian Taxpayers' Federation. He was also an active campaigner for Adriane Carr's Free Your Vote initiative in 2001 and 2002.

He speaks to Latin Waves host Sylvia Richardson about the historical, economic and cultural significance of the wheat board. How food our food production and distribution is interlink to health and our collective responsibility to create sustainable coexistence.
