He first two books - "Proust Was A Neuroscientist" (2006) and "How We Decide" (2010), deal with success and decision-making respectively. His latest book "Imagine" deals with imagination and creativity of the brain.
For many years, Courtney E. Smith worked as a researcher for MTV and was instrumental in the formation of Death Cab for Cutie and Fall Out Boy. She released her first book bout music -Record Collecting for Girls - in December.
