Description: Zach Wahls made headlines in 2011, when a video him speaking to the Iowa house of Representatives against a bill that would banned gay marriage, went viral. Raised by two moms, Zach subsequently on Ellen, CBS News, MSNBC and the Daily Show. He has just co-authored a book titled My Two Moms. He continues to fight for sexual equality.
Justin Simms is the writer-director of Hard Light, an interwoven documentary/drama based on the book by the Michael Crummey. It is a love letter to Newfoundland and focuses on Crummey's spiritual, intellectual, and evolutionary journey. It makes its world premiere at DOXA in Vancouver on May 7th at 7pm
Eamon McGrath is a Toronto-based, Edmonton born folk and punk rock musician, known for his energetic, eclectic live shows, which contrast, his mellow, acoustic albums. He releases material both independently through his home studio and through independent labels. As a result, he has produced over 20 albums and EPs in less than five years. His latest, Young Canadians was released April 10.
