Program Title: Endeavours - Wrestling & NASA Engineer
Description: Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) is a former wrestling star-turned Yoga instructor. During Page’s fourteen year pro wrestling career, he captivated audiences and became a three-time world champion. His matches with wrestling legends such as Hulk Hogan, Randy “Macho Man” Savage, and Bill Goldberg became legendary. And as networks, actors and professional athletes became more interested in the fan base and ratings that professional wrestling was attracting, Diamond Dallas Page became the unlikely tag team partner of late-night talk show host Jay Leno, basketball great Karl Malone and movie star David Arquette. Pay-per-view and charity match appearances versus Hogan and perennial “bad boy” Dennis Rodman are memorable to both fans and non-fans alike.

After his retirement from wrestling, Page co-developed YRG, a revolutionary fitness program that takes the principles of yoga and supercharges them with old school calisthenics, core stability training and isometric and Dynamic resistance training to give an intense, complete body workout. He is also an actor and motivational speaker.

Homer Hickam grew up in the small town of Coalwood, West Virginia. While in high school, he was the leader of a group of boys who built rockets; their designs won gold and silver at the 1960 science fair. His memoir about life in Coalwood, "Rocket Boys", was turned into the film "October Sky" starring a young Jake Gyllenhaal as Hickam.

He began working for NASA in 1981 as aerospace engineer and also specialized in spacecraft design and crew training. A Vietnam Vet and scuba enthusiast, many of early books were non-fiction and focused on the underwater. He has also published many works of fiction, starting with Back to the Moon in 1999. His latest novel is Crater. He and his wife Linda, divide their time between Alabama and the Virgin Islands.

Great Lake Swimmers are a folk-rock ensemble originally from Wainfleet, Ontario. GLS uses an eclectic variety of instruments including harmonica, harmonium, upright bass and violin. Many of GLS' collaborators and former backing members have also found national success including Julie Fader, Sandro Perri and Colin Huebert (Siskiyou).

Their fifth studio album, New Wild Everywhere was released on April 3rd. In addition, the band also composed a soundtrack for the e-book One in a Thousand by photographer Ian Coristine, which contains photographs from the Thousand Islands.
