Program Title: WINGS #10-12 Casseroles Argentina
Description: From the Archives: Argentines in the Streets. The economic collapse of 2001 brought formerly middle-class Argentines into the streets, banging pots and pans, alongside the long-term unemployed piqueteros. Four presidents were brought down in quick succession. Casseroles marches in Canada today also draw on this tradition.

Host(s): Frieda Werden, Nina Lopez-Jones
Featured Speakers/Guests: Two organizers from the The Sindicato de Amas de Casa de Santa Fe (Housewives Trade Union of Santa Fe, Argentina): Isabel Zanutigh and Beatriz Marega

Credits: Audio courtesy of the International Wages for Housework Campaign; supplementary audio from "Casseroles in Vancouver" video, posted to YouTube by DigitalMonkBlog; program produced by Frieda Werden.
