Program Title: Endeavours - A War-Time Hero
Description: Chris Guillebeau is an entrepreneur and travel writer and blogger who has been to 190 countries at the age of 34. His latest book is The 100 Start-up, which tells success stories of small business from all around the world. How can you start a business with $100 or less and keep very few employees. Chris will tell you how.
Aili & Andres McConnon are a brother-sister pair of journalists who recently authored "Road To Valour". It is the story of Gino Bartali, an Italian cyclist and Tour De France champion. However, he was also a devout Catholic and helped saved the lives of many Italian Jews during WWII. "Road To Valour" combines a biography of Bartali, the history of cycling, the Tour De France, and the economy of Italy.
Jocelyn Pettit is a fiddle player from Squamish, BC. Backed by her band, she released her self-titled album in March. She combines traditional celtic music, with a west coast feel.
