Description: Ian Hanomansing is a longtime reporter and journalist with CBC Radio and Television. from 2004-2010 he was back-up anchor for the national as well as local nighttime anchor with Gloria Mackarenko. Prior to working the CBC, he began his radio days in the Maritimes, working for CKDH an Amerherst, NS, CKCW in Moncton, and CHNS in Halifax. He also co- hosted hemispheres, a weekly documentary program, co-produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Born in Trinidad and raised in Sackville, New Brunswick, Ian currently lives in Vancouver.

Sirish Rao is the Artistic Director of the Indian Summer Fest in Vancouver. The Summer Fest celebrates the best in Indian culture. This year, two of the keynote guests will be local Vancouver Chef and authority on Indian cuisine Vikiram Vij (to be a guest of July 16), and legendary Indian Film Star Sharmila Tagore.

Les Cowboys Fringants are a folk-rock music group from Repitigny, Quebec. They merge traditional folk music, with a Quebec flavour and sing about issues such as politics, history of Quebec, social issues, and separatism. Their latest album Que de Vent was released in November.
