Description: Girls", whose 13th album "Beauty Queen Sister" was released in October. In addition to her work with The Indigo Girls, Ray is also an accomplished solo artist, having released five records. In 1989, she started Daemon Records, dedicated to releasing and producing independent albums. Additionally, Ray and bandmate Emily Sailers have been active in many LGBT, environmental, and Native American causes. Consequently, they have also been promoters of low-broadcast frequencies.
John Tackaberry is the media relations liason for Amnesty International Canada. He breaks down the Pussy Riot trial - the Russian Punk Rockers who were jailed and charged with hooliganism for a church stunt back in March. Tackaberry explains why Amnesty International has labelled them as prisoners of conscience.
Alexz Johnson is a Canadian singer currently based in New York. She got her first taste of fame in the TV Show "Instant Star". She talks about her new EP, "Skipping Stone", which was funded through Kickstarter
