The film centers on a veteran returning from harrowing experiences oversees who ends up becoming a guardian figure for a young boy. It stars Papazian, Tristan Lake Leabu, AJ Cook, Lauren San Giacomo and Charles S. Dutton.
Wendy Thomspon and Eduardo Lopez are the makers of the documentary Harvest of Empire, based on the book by award-winning Journalist Juan Gonzalez, co-host of Democracy Now! It looks at Latino immigration in the United States and features interviews with, among others, Juan Gonzalez, Junot Diaz and Geraldo Rivera.
Sloan is a Canadian Alt-rock band that formed in 1991. Having an unaltered lineup for its entire existence, the band is in hallowed territory. Their latest album is The Double Cross.
