These include Darcy Turenne, a professional mountain biker and filmmaker; Jaigris Hodson, a communications teacher and burlesque performer; Carolyn Herriot, a food security advocate and practitioner of the zero-mile diet; and Donna Morton, the CEO of First Power.

TEDxVictoria is an independently organized TED-like event in Victoria, BC. The aim is to gather and collaborate with leaders, thinkers, inventors, innovators, young minds, and wise hearts around Vancouver Island in order to offer them one day of engaging talks and unforeseen connections. TEDxVictoria celebrates the challenge and inspiration that comes with new ideas, insights and innovations.
