Description: Chandra Melting-Tallow is a multidisciplinary artist, an exploratory musician performing as Mourning Coup, and a member of the Siksika Nation. She stops by CFUV's studio to talk about Floodlands, her new art piece that reflects her experience moving through and overcoming historical trauma and colonialism. Then Women on Air features Annalee Lepp, an Associate Professor and the current Chair of Women's Studies. Professor Lepp is the most recent recipient of the UVic’s most prestigious teaching award, the Harry Hickman Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching. Annalee Lepp discusses how she brings her passion for social justice and critical conversations into her work as a teacher, researcher and writer.
