Description: eremy Mathis is a father from Fountain, Colorado. Along with his wife Kathryn, he filed a human rights complaint against the local school district on behalf of their daughter Coy, who is transgender. Coy identifies as female, but was told she has to use the boy's washroom because she is biologically male. The alternatives were the health washroom/nurses station or the staff washroom. It should be noted the school is in violation of Colorado state law. They have refused mediation.
iO Tillett Wright is an artist, photographer and activist, whose latest project is "Self Evident Truths", a photographic diary of persons who identify as anything other than %100 straight. So far, she has chronicled over 6000 people in 20 cities across the states. How is she helping the gay rights movement?
