Program Title: Endeavours - Celebrating Asian Heritage Month
Description: Shyam Selvadurai is a Sri-Lankan born, Canadian author and Giller book prize nominee. Author of two previous books - Funny Boy and Cinnamon Gardens - as well the children's story Swimming in the Monsoon Sea, Selvadurai's new novel, his first in 10 years, is The Hungry Ghost, which he describes as a biography of time.

Joseph Elworthy is the executive director of the Vancouver Academy of Music. Currently, VAM is a leading advisor for the creation and design of the music centre : The Haw Par Music Farm. They have been working with Bing Thom architects and The Sally Aw foundation. It will be completed by 2017.

Ivan & Alyosha are an indie folk-rock band from Seattle, Washington. Their feature-length debut - All The Times We Had - was released in April.
