Pan Am and Parapan Am Games Medals unveiled | Erin Bond, CHSR 97.9 FM in Fredericton, N.B.
The 2015 competition medals for the Pan Am and Parapan Am games were unveiled on March 3 in Toronto. Erin Bond brings us this report about the water theme of the Pan Am medals, with a specially prepared statement by Métis artist Christi Belcourt and an interview with activist Sakura Saunders, who wrote an article about how the creation of these medals has been detrimentally impacting water supplies in Indigenous communities.
