Michelle Gross is a Minneapolis-based activist working with the group Communities United Against Police Brutality. She places in context the unrest following the fatal shooting of 24 year old African American Jamar Clark.

In the final half hour we will hear from Abayomi Azikiwe, commentator, essayist and editor of Pan-African News Wire. Azikiwe explains the historical roots of this repression of African Americans, the successes and failures of the Black Liberation Movements of the past and his understanding of the fundamental changes that would be needed to fully emancipate the Black population of America.
