On this week's episode of the Global Research News Hour we take a look at objections not being raised anywhere else.
Professor Michel Chossudovsky argues that CETA is effectively a proxy for a trade pact not just with Canada, but with all three NAFTA partners. He also argues this project is aligning with NATO military objectives. He explains his position in the first half hour.
In the second half hour we hear audio from an October 25th Press conference featuring Constitutional Lawyer Rocco Galati and two of his plaintiffs, Ann Emmett and former Minister of Defence the Honourable Paul Hellyer.
They argue the CETA would violate the constitution and encroaches on the exclusive jurisdiction of the provinces, and aim to block the passage of CETA through legal means.
