Program Title: NewFound Records - Ep. 383 - The Loretta Cormier Story Pt. 1
Description: She grew up in the fertile Valley of the Winds, surrounded by the songs, music and spirit of her Scottish, French and English ancestors. She sang, at school, at church, at Sunday afternoon talent shows. She sang with her high school dance band, The Islanders, and with her friend as the duo, The Codroy Valley Sweethearts. She dreamed, of being a star, like Dolly Parton, like Loretta Lynn. Then, a country music singer blew into the Valley, and he gave her a chance to follow that dream.
