Description: Episode 3 features playwright and author Simon Choa-Johnston who talks about his novel House of Wives. It is an exploration into identity and immigration, with Choa-Johnston using his own Chinese heritage as a starting point. Also, he shares his thoughts on cultural appropriation and the rights of others.
Jadea Kelly (pronounced Jay-dah) is a singer-songwriter from Whitby, Ontario. She has played and toured with the likes of Luke Doucet, Melissa McClelland, Justin Rutledge and Protest the Hero. Her new record - the fourth full-length album - is entitled Love & Lust.
Jillian Christmas is a poet and Spoken Word Performer who has won several award and championships for her words in Vancouver. Known in both Vancouver and Toronto, she is currently experimenting with the fusion of music and poetry as well as being the executive director of the Verses festival in Vancouver.
