Description: This episode profiles the career and music of legendary St. John’s drummer, Darrock (Rocky) Wiseman. Rocky was the beat behind ‘60s rockers, The Ravens, & ‘70s rock & reelers, The Wonderful Grand Band. He also appeared on numerous CBC TV & radio productions throughout the '60s, and '70s. Nowadays, he hosts the program Rocky's Roots which is aired on several community radio stations throughout Newfoundland.

Tune in to this episode of NFR and you’ll hear music by several of the bands which Rocky played with in days of yore. And you'll also be treated to excerpts from an interview that I did with Rocky and his lifelong drumming colleague and friend, Mack Barfoot.
