Description: Are you a fan of country music? I mean real good old "three chords & the truth" stuff. If so, you'll want to join me for the next two episodes of The NewFound Records Radioi Hour. We'll spin some outstanding country tunes and they're jam-packed with loneliness, pain, suffering, love-gone-wrong, tears, and beer. And there's even an occasional love-gone-right song in the mix. Of course, all the music is provided by Newfoundland's recording artists of days-goneby... most of it you probably never heard before, and it’s great stuff! Plus we'll remember the man who I believe to be the first Newfoundlander to cut a country record, Larry Harvey. Larry passed away a few years ago in Toronto and was buried in his native Carmanville. His wife Vergena passed away a few months ago and her ashes will soon be re-united with Larry in Carmanville. Tune in to the show and you'll hear a touching love song that she and Larry both penned early in their life-long love affair. Some of the words to the song are engraved on their tombstone.
