Description: The Juno Award winning high energy Canadian folk band The McDades are the featured artists of this episode. This group from Alberta is made up of siblings Shannon Johnson (violin and vocals), Solon McDade (bass and vocals), and Jeremiah McDade (multi-instrumentalist and vocals). In July 2018 the McDades performed at the Southeast Alaska State Fair in Haines, Alaska, where we recorded them. The McDade trio is joined on stage by Andy Hillhouse (guitar) and Eric Breton (percussion).
