Description: On our last show for 2018, we remember legendary St. John’s drummer Darrock (Rocky) Wiseman.

Rocky was the beat behind ‘60s rockers, The Ravens, and ‘70s rock & reelers, The Wonderful Grand Band. He also appeared on numerous CBC TV & radio productions throughout the '60s, and '70s, backing the province’s greatest musicians of the day. Sadly, Rocky passed away in June of this year.

Tune in to this episode of NFR and you’ll hear music by several of the bands which Rocky played with in days of yore. And you'll also hear excerpts from an interview that I had the honour of doing with Rocky and his lifelong drumming colleague and friend, Mack Barfoot.
