Description: We start the show with a tribute to Ron Pumphrey who recently passed way.

Ron wore a gazillion hats throughout his checkered career, and had a gazillion accomplishments! One of his lesser known accomplishments was this... he was the first Newfoundlander to record a comedy album! From that LP, we'll spin two awesome tracks by Harry Hibbs which deal with Ron's experiences as an Open Line radio host. And you'll also hear a little snippet from Pumphrey himself.

Then for the remainder of the program, we shine a light on Newfoundland recording artists from the ‘50s to the ‘80s who churned out new music in 2018! On the playlist are Dave Panting, Sandy Morris, Denis Parker, and J. Terry Hynes.
