Description: Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen from Virginia have been stretching the envelope of bluegrass music by delivering a high energy stew of all kinds of music.
In 2016 the International Bluegrass Music Association named “Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen” “Instrumental Group of the Year” for the second time, with a third nomination in 2017. Their critically acclaimed album “Cold Spell” earned a 2015 GRAMMY nomination for “Best Bluegrass Album” of the Year. Their 4th and latest album “If You Can’t Stand the Heat” was released earlier in 2019 .
We recorded the band live at the Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Haines Junction, Yukon, in June 2019.
