On the platter... a rare single by The Rising Sons. The label says it's from their vinyl LP, but to my delight the single differs from the LP version!!! Plus another rare single... this one by Minnie White & The Boys. Minnie is known as NL's First Lady Of the Accordion and her LPs are filled with instrumentals. But both tracks of this single, which were penned by Minnie, have lyrics sung by an unidentified male vocalist... most unusual.

Also you'll hear a track from a single released in the mid 1950s which may have the dubious distinction of including the word 'Newfie' in its lyrics. Plus, we'll spin a track from a mysterious single by an artist identified only as The Musical Mummer!!!
