Description: This episode features French jazz vocalist Lorène Charmetant who now lives in Whitehorse, Yukon. We recorded Lorène’s performance at the Old Fire Hall in Whitehorse, Yukon, in December 2019.
Lorene was joined on stage by some of Yukon's most respected musicians; Daniel Janke (piano, synthesizer), Lonnie Powell (drums), Dave Haddock (bass), Olivier de Colombel (tenor saxophone) and Andrea McColeman ( percussion, accordion).
We thank Jazz Yukon for presenting Lorène at the “Jazz in the Hall” jazz music education concert series.
