SIPS Episode – We take on all of the ineptitude to pronounce wines from Spain correctly. We cover most of the Pommery products and some select great white Spanish wines from Rias Baixas. Safety tip- Drinking wine does not help you pronounce non-native words any better, however it is more entertaining. We taste and rate the following wine from 1-5:
Castro Martin Family Estate 'Sobre Lias' 2017 – 100% Albariño grapes – 3 SIPS

Pazo Pondal – Mina Vida 2018 - 60% Albariño + 40% Treixadura from the Condado do Tea region – 3 SIPS

Pommery Brut Royal – Non Vintage – 12.5% ABV – 10g/l Dosage – 3 SIPS

Pommery Blanc de Blancs – Non Vintage - 100% Chardonnay 12.5% ABV – 7 g/l Dosage - average 3 -5 years – 3 SIPS

Pommery Cuvee Louise - 2004 – 60% Chardonnay 40% Pinot Noir - 12.5% ABV - 5g/l of dosage – 4 SIPS

Pommery Cuvee Louise Brut Nature - 2004 – Aged 10 years on the lees - no dosage added - A blend of 35% Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru village of Ay and 65% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru villages of Avize and Cramant. 12.5% ABV – 4 SIPS
