Description: New Found Records honours the man who in 1956 released the first album of authentic, traditional Newfoundland accordion music as played at dances, parties and weddings. That man is Wilf Doyle and he went on to record a string of albums in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

He appeared on immensely popular radio programs like Saturday Nite Jamboree, and TV shows like All Around the Circle. Both the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Arts Council, and The East Coast Music Association have honoured Wilf for his contribution to the preservation of Newfoundland’s traditional music.
