Tune in to this season’s premiere and treat your ears to rare NL vinyl that we added to the NFR library in recent months. It’s a great playlist with a spin from A. Frank Willis’ first LP, a record that’s almost impossible to find. Also on the turntable, Rex Hemeon’s follow up to Bingo & Another World called General Hospital & Darts. That record is also a tough one to come by. And you’ll hear a real gem by Ralph O’Brien & The Sons of Erin from the early ‘70s. The song is Phil Coulter’s Scorn Not His Simplicity and it did not appear on either of the Sons LPs! Ralph’s rendition of this song blew my mind. And we’ve got a 3 minute drum solo from a single released by Gander’s Seven Years Later in 1972. Plus there’s plenty more vinyl treasures.
