This episode features an exclusive interview with musician, author, actor and New York Punk Icon Richard Hell. Known as one of the pioneers and originators in the early days of New York Punk, Richard Hell quit the music world in 1984 to focus on his writing. His second album with The Voidoids, Destiny Street is an underappreciated classic. In 2021, Omnivore Recordings released Destiny Street Complete featuring a remixed version of the album, alternate versions, demos and outtakes.

In this interview, Richard discusses the long road to discovering the lost master tapes of Destiny Street, writing music and touring with the Voidoids, his writing career and more! This episode also features selections from Destiny Street Complete, along with other selections from Richard Hell’s discography.
