Program Title: Fit to Eat Season 2 Episode 13
Description: Remember those days when, at a moment’s notice, we would drop in to a restaurant and check out the cuisine? Without masks and social distancing and without providing a full accounting of our identity and our lifestyle before we were served? Depending on where you live in the world, this may, or may not, be on its way back. But the chastising ghosts of Covid-19 still lurk in the background, and the restaurant and food-to-go sector continues to be challenged. On this week's "Fit to Eat" show, we talk to a person who has lived through those times, and emerges with some optimism, though with a few reservations. But hey, reservations are important in the world of fine dining. Join me for a chat with Todd Perrin, who is the initiator of two food businesses in St. John’s - Mallard Cottage in Quidi Vidi Village and Waterwest Kitchen and Meats, over on the other side of downtown. He is a chef, an entrepreneur, a food impresario and more.
