Comments: Charlie Clements Book "Witness to War" is out of print but can be found in some libraries. It is an incredible first hand account of life amongst the desperately poor but dignified campesinos who were resisting the billions of dollars of US military aid and counter insurgency strategy that was being chanelled through the El Salvadoran military.
