This march in the montreal sessions we have been approaching the 5th anniversary of the war in Iraq cautiously, head on, in anticipation of a date that no one celebrates armed with instruments and we've been talking to montreal musicians and knowledge producers about the ways they have been affected and seek to affect in this time of war.

Sam Shalabi joins us here in the studio armed with his instrument, and brings us two live performances.
