Description: The "tamtams" is that enormous drum jam/reefer-blazing session that takes place every Sunday at Jeanne-Mance Park. But there's another side to this quintessential Montreal festival.

Go past the drum circle. Now follow the cloud of dust flowing down from the mountain. Keep going, and you will find a wacky yet menacing crowd of medieval revivalist, many of whom are armed with styrofoam swords and other imitation weaponry.

Have no fear, you can visit the TAMTAM FIGHTERS without the risk of a stray foam-tipped arrow to the cranium through the magic of radio!!!
