Description: Forty years ago, in November of 1968, CBC radio launched a new radio program called “As It Happens�. That show made many of its hosts, including the late Barbara Frum, house-hold names. Mary Lou Finlay was fortunate to sit in that same hosting chair for several years. She looks back at the successes and sometimes ridiculously funny failures of the show in her first book The As It Happens Files.
