University of Alaska, Fairbanks professor Judith Kleinfeld has spent four decades studying gender and education.
Her study, published in the Journal of Gender Issues, goes beyond the usual scholastic indicators to include mental health, premature death, injury, delinquency, and arrests, in trying to ascertain the state of American boyhood.
