Program Title: Climate Change Special
Description: Today we have an interview with Linda Duncan about Bill C-311, the Climate Change Accountability Act. It was an effort by the NDP to force the government to commit to strong, science-based CO2 targets before December's UN climate change conference, but was recently delayed by the combined efforts of the Liberals and Conservatives. We've also got coverage of Saturday's Global Day of Climate Action and we'll go on a tour of Edmonton's new waste management facility which aims to divert 90% of the city's garbage from landfills.
