Description: This week we look at the issues surrounding nuclear energy. In 2007 Bruce Power put forward a proposal to build nuclear reactors near Peace River, Alberta. Since then anti-nuclear groups have sprung up across the province. Today we've got coverage of an anti-nuclear rally that took place in Edmonton last week. We have a brief history of the nuclear industry, from the first experiments on radioactivity through to the present day. We'll also hear from prominent anti-nuclear activist Dr Helen Caldicott on some of the problems that surround nuclear power production.
