Program Title: Terra Informa 7-31: Green Community Groups, Cycling, and Carbon Neutral Homes
Description: Marcus investigates the rapidly growing trend of environmentally-conscious community groups and some of the amazing projects they're doing to empower and transform neighbourhoods. Dave speaks to Peter Amerongen, a builder and company director whose new houses strive to be completely carbon neutral. His recent projects are showing that it's possible to build green, even in a very cold climate. And Steve meets up with Karly Coleman, Canada's only bicycle traffic reporter. Karly will be joining Terra Informa all throughout the summer. This week she tells us about the high cost of free parking. Alex has the news and Jade is your host.
