Live broadcast from sanctions busting telethon in support of Abousfian Abdelrazik

Program Title: Busting Sanctions with Abdelrazik and CKUTs Amandla!
Description: On April 28th a sanctions busting telethon was held in support of Abousfian Abdelrazik who, since his return from an imposed exile in Sudan, has not been delisted from the UN 1267 list, meaning that he cannot work, cannot have a bank account and cannot even be given money.

This telethon is an act of civil disobedience by which Canadians will tell the government that they are providing support for Abousfian in defiance of the the asset freeze imposed on him by the list. Abousfian was never charged with anything, and has been exonerated by csis, who, according to the Federal Court, was responsible for getting him arrested in Sudan in the first place!

Think about listening and calling in a donation! CKUT's Amandla is hosted the first hour of the telethon, from 7p.m. to 8p.m. On April 28th. The number to call is 877-737-4070.

NB: Please note donating is a political act. It is an offense to give him money and in theory you could be prosecuted. This same threat was made
against those 250 Canadians who bought him an airline ticket home from Sudan. It was never followed up.
